This illustration by Latvian advertisement “guru” Eriks Stendzinieks was published in the national newspaper “Diena” some 5-7 years ago. It has traveled a lot with me since I cut it out.. hanging on a door, just being stocked in some folders..

It’s just SO true! I have to remind it to my critical mind from time to time (:

It says “Everything is shit”.

Thank you for your comments.

It is just vapid (veteran) provocation!

And by the way, we have snow in Latvia!

Sure, seven years ago the context was different and maybe it was more kind of a provocation.
For me it’s a reminder that we shouldn’t always listen to all the people criticising us, we should also look at what they are doing themselves. Who doesn’t do anything, doesn’t make any mistakes (: !
Btw, we have (some) snow in Holland as well ;)!

Ja tas tā būtu patiešām, pasaule jau vairs neeksistētu… lai atrastu kaut ko , ko var apzīmēt pretēji,pietiek nedaudz paskatīties uz ko citu, ne uz cilvēkiem… Varbūt līdz tam ir jānonāk, bet ne visi to izdara. Man žēl to cilvēku, kas to var pateikt kaut pa jokam. Vārds nes ENERGJIJU!

I like that it picks you up instead of making you depressed.
For me too, it shows a small sparkle of light.
It’s a funny picture (a strange colour-combination though)
